I am replacing power steering belt (again!) and wondered if there are any brands to avoid or any which are particularly recommended? I saw a Contitech on ebay for about £6.
It was only replaced about 9 months ago and starting to squeal again. There is no give in the tensioner and if it was tightened any more I would be afraid of pulling the bearings so have I got a dud belt or is something else amiss?
The size is 4PK725 - would getting a 4pk723 give it a bit extra tightness or should you only fit the 4PK725?
