Drive Belt Rubbing.

hey guys I've got a '95 slx with air con and power steering.

fitted two new drive belts and one is catching causing noise and slight fraying, which will evidently lead to an effed belt.

the compressor/alternator belt is catching on the side of the idler pulley (mount) and I was wondering if it's possible to bring the pulley mount inwards towards the engine to allow more space to run or if it's possible to space the alternator out towards the driver's wheel to better align the belt?

any ideas would be rad, cheers!
