Why on earth does it get so black under there? my car never really gets that dirty, the fuel cap seems to seal completely, but it still gets filthy black in no time at all, a real mystery.
i dont know why it happens but i would clean the area and then give it a good polish i find it stays cleaner for longer and its also easy to wash out when you are washing your car
