Dial Help!

hey guys.. got a cluster from uk and i need to change the mph plate to my original kmph back plate... but im having a bit of trouble getting the needle off... can some1 give me some advice on removing the needle without ruining the calibration of the speedo or beaking it...

Once the needle is off, it will be inaccurate. If you have a GPS speedo (sat nav etc), you'll eventually after trial and error, be able to reseat the needle into an accurate position but you'll never get it right first time.

Can you remove the entire speedo dial, including odometer, needle etc and put it into your new one, or are they a different shape.

yeah maybe thats a better idea... probably have to do that.. cos i dont want a needle that doesnt work...
