think i just killed my st was flat out racing doing 160 coming out of third and hit 2nd instead of fourth, dont think its the big end but it duznt like idling at the moment not good

yeah hope the cylinder(s) or crank arnt damaged. Though if a cylinder did touch a valve, i would probably expect there to be some damage to the cylinder

you mean piston. I doubt they'd have collided if the cambelt is still good. But either way, it looks like you'll have to strip it down.

Check timing it might have slipped

Do a compression test b4 you rip anything apart

was up late last night lol
does the idle sound off or just different?
if 1 or more valves bent then there will be a periodic change in idle sound

Must have a strange gearbox, At mine did at most 145-150 with stock limiter, and that was with slightly longer gear ratios.

ok there is hope i only bent three exhaust valves and the timing belt is perfect, one big prob i cant get the valves, any help would be great and yeah im not sure why it does that speed in third but i dont think the gearbox is any different, the clutch disc is a k11 1.3, the pressure plate is the nismo one i bought off baz and the realese bearing is from a primera

I'd say the speedo's off like mine, not a hope would it do 160km in 3rd.
