Okay!

Now I figured out how to get the buggers off without removing the inner wheel arch splash guard.

Get a credit card (or similar debt-creating device) and slip it up underneath the rubber around the bottom of the indicator and push up. It should go CLICK and pop out :)

Anyway i've peeled the rubber seal away and it seems that there is no glue around my clear lense. Fixing it up now.

Cheers

Hi TomYom,

Were these CMF clear side blinkers?

If so, that's no good! First I've heard about this problem.
Has anyone else had this problem with them?

Does your other one have the glue, and is fine?

Thanks

Yep they are CMF blinkers made by DEPO.

All fixed now and the other one doesnt have the problem. Yay.

Now to see if my DEPO headlights fog up! :( Shouldnt though as I thought ahead and put a nice ring of marine silicone on the seam...

Ok no worries, thanks TomYom.

Thanks for fixing it anyway. If you have any further problems, please let me know.

Haha I can't win.

In the rain and it turns into another fishtank. Seal is perfect.

There must be a crack in the plastic lense. I'm going to fill it with marine silicone. That should keep the water out but it will look a little crap. :(

Spotted some nice looking crystal style on ebay though, cheap too...
