Console to PC HELP!

I have connected my xbox 360 to my pc by plugging the red, yellow, and white leads into the front of the pc. I get sound but no picture. Can anyone shed some light on this? thanks!

what cable have you used..? the standard 360 one?

what type of moniter do you have?

sounds like your using a video recording card.. if it IS a video in card its probably in the settings..

Yeah i am using the cable that came with the console. My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 913N, Havn't got a clue about the cards u mentioned???lol! I can try n get a spec of the pc if u tell me where to look for it?

Sure its video in and not video out? You'd need to change the settings for your graphics card.

Looking at your moniter, your best bet is to Connect directly to it..

You need a AVI ariel to connecto your 360 to it.. just make sure there is a slot for an 'AVI input' on the back of it... MOST recent flat screen moniters have um...

..the image quality from your 360 through your flatscreen with be SECOND TO NONE!

looking at the back of the monitor there doesnt appear to be any extra ports to plug stuff in. theres just the power and the lead from the pc itself.

Get an XBox to VGA lead (monitor lead) and a VGA splitter box
