Coil overs

guys,
I have read some article says that he cut his stock coils about 30mm just to lower his micra...

is it safe to cut and use it temporarily?

they can be dangerous if you leave the cut tail-end unshaped schon (because they wont sit in the platform squarely)
and also unsafe if they are not still captive when jacked up

Just spend the little money on coils and do it properly. Mine had cut spring to start with from the previous owner and they were horrible.
