Clutch bite point Very high!!

Hi had my Micra a couple of weeks now and nearly all little problems solved apart from a couple, first one is my biting point on my clutch is very high somebody at college told me my clutch is going to give up but its not slipping or anything? Second one is drivers window keeps coming off rail when winding up, dad has stripped door cover off and runner has only got one roller in not two and the one in it is broken. Does this mean a new mechanism or can i just buy the rollers? Cheers Stacey..

i have a whole drivers side window mechanism you have have for a little money... fully working order!!!

also the clutch can it not be adjusted from the gear box end?

Yeah, check the adjustment on the clutch cable at the gearbox end and loosen it off a bit (turn clockwise on the adjustment knob i think?) If that doesnt sort it then ye the clutch will probably soon need replaced

yep good way to test is to put car into 3rd release hand break and lift the clutch and if it stalls the engine it is fine
