And if Facebook isn't an option for you give me a shout out on here and i'll do my best to help.

guy proberbly just disconnected the signal wire from the sensor located on the head and ran it to the other guage.

take you cluster off and see if any wires are jumped or modified.
if not then check the sensor side, located under the distributor.

I THANK YOU GUYS THAT ANSWERED MY QUESTION. I SOLDERED BACK THE ORIGINAL WIRE WHICH IS THE SINGLE WIRE FROM THE SENSOR TO THE CLUSTER AND HAVE REPLACED BOTH THE SENSORS. DISCONNECTED THE DIGITAL ONE. AFTER THE REPLACEMENT OF BOTH SENSORS THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE IS HITTING THE ROOF PASSING THE RED LINE. COULD IT BE THE ACTUAL CLUSTER THAT **** ITSELF I DON'T KNOW. ANY OTHER ANSWERS AND SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT.... CHEERS EVERYONE.....

I have noticed issues with temperature gauges on Super S / SR clusters before I just swapped clusters. I think it's an issue in the cluster itself and likely a simple fix if you pinpoint it. They can be temperamental as Dean Simmons (Hotfunk67) would also attest. I have the full workshop manual and would be able to send you some wiring diagrams or something to assist if you'd like to throw your email address up.
Cheers
