Cannot lock car with either microswitch or keyfob

Hi All,

I have just seen a problem today, when I park the car and go to lock it either by the microswitch or by the keyfob, it will not lock.

The odd thing is I can still drive the car.

I have found the keyhole on the passenger side and can lock the car that way, but as it is my wife's car, it is a bit of a pain in the neck for her to be locking the car on the passenger side if she want to drive it.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is and how I go about fixing it?

Try see if the car will start ok without your key in there, if it does the odds are you have got a spare key left in the car somewere. he car will not lock correctly if the spare key is left in there.
Lets me know how you get on.
