Bucket Seats and Harnesses MOT question

Hi, i recently bought a paid of bucket seats with harnesses from the site and now i'm wondering whether or not they'd pass an MOT. They're three point harnesses that are bolted twice to the underside of the seat and then to the bolt from the old front seat belts, and buckle up at the front.

The seats themselves are bolted in exactly the same way as old seats with the same bolts. Would the harnesses be a problem for an MOT, and if so would i be able to keep the seats but with the original seat belts.

Stick a photo up. I have a feeling the one that goes over the shoulders and back needs to be secured behind the seat, ie the rear pillars next to the rear windows or roll cage.

They're not safe in that configuration, and won't pass an MOT. You need to bolt them to the rear seatbelt mounting points or similar.

That's good, i really like the seat, but the harnesses are a bit impractical anyway. And if they're not safe then I will certainly be taking them out.
