broken numberplate lights

Both of my numberplate lights have went off. The bulbs look ok so im guessing its a fuse but it doesnt have one too its self in the fuse panel. So it must be tied into a different system, but which one? Anyone got any ideas?

how did u wire them up when i wired mine up i wired them up on the side lights

um? what? I didnt wire them up, nissan did.

Yeh they are normally wired to the sidelights, had a problem with my shockinly bad escort a few years back.
It sounds silly but make sure your rear lights work, there linked to the front and normally the number plate lights. All go together if its linked obviously

Or it could be corrosion on the terminals mate. See this quite a lot with the Renaults. Stick a volt meter across the terminals - or from the positive to a known good earth.

yeah, all the other lights work fine, i'll try a multimeter on it later, might just get a new bulb and lob it in just incase. Mine looked fine, but it wouldnt hurt to have a spare.
