Black strips on roof

How easy would it be to replace the black strips on the roof? Mine are ripped for some reason, and I want to replace them with colour-coded ones from the scrap yard. Do they come off and go back in easily?

Not sure on removal and fitting fo them, don't have my haynes to hand!
But I've never seen colour coded ones? As standard at least

go to the scrappies and take them off, that way youll see how they are for fitting

the roof gutters are lined with little pegs, i think they are about 8 inches apart. the black stips lock on to these pegs.

to get the stips off you simply have to slide them and lift them up.

i cant remember which way you slide them but i would have thought it would be towards the front of the car, if they slide then slide them as far as they will go and then lift them up.
