Best way to tint rear lights?

Is this what I need or will usual spray paint work? Anyone done this before? Thinking of tinting the yellow and white parts orf the cluster red.

i tinted mine black with tinting spray from halfords, cost about a fiver

did about 12 coats to get it really black

DONT USE PAINT it wont work, you wont get it off and your car will be hunted down by the police...

tinting even one coat is ileagal anything that restricts the view of the lights, even anything that changes the lights like LED bulbs...

but i've had them pitch black for ages and no complaints

it is legal but you need an external reflector if your rear lights are tinted

I just want to tint the yelow and white parts of my rear clusters 'red' - do they sell the red pain in Halfords? Can I use red spray paint? Thanks
