I thought that some people would like to no that I have done some investigating into bearing noise on my micra. I did the following. I had a noise that sounds like bearings so I removed the big idler pulley at first, did not fix it. Then I removed the outside belt and ran the car still there. So that makes it not any ouside pulley damaged so I removed the inside belt still bearing rubbing noise. But the noise goes away when warm. So for all those who want to find out if it is there bearings in any of there pulleys or in fact the timing chain or the one inside idler or tensioners this is the way to find out. But the worst part is that to do the timing chain and other part you have to remove the head and it takes a while. Just thought I would share this as some people in the club might have these noises and this is a way to work them out, So if you have this problem put up with it for as long as you can as it is not cheap and take some time.Hope this helps some people.
