Ball Joint Help Needed

I've noticed a rattling coming from my car when turning corners. On closer inspection I have noticed the passenger side ball joint is basically about to fall out.

Could anyone give me some advice on how to replace this and rough cost?

Also on the odd occassion my car has difficulty starting, it will start and then almost instantly cut out, and then when it's re-started it's very lumpy and a load of crap comes out the exhaust.

Mainly worried about the ball joint, but any help on this would be useful aswell.

Car is a 1996 K11 1 litre GX

Change the whole bottom arm, then you get a new balljoint and rubbers as well, the price can be between £17 and £25 depending where you shop. The starting problem sounds like your throttle body is goosed, I know its repairable, but they're readily available from a breakers and are easy to fit.

Got it sorted, The Cir Clip wasn't installed properly when I had my CV Boots changed on friday. Took a bit of time and a new set of Circlip Pliars and all is good. Took it for a little drive and seems allllll good!
