Back to Black on bumpers

Hey chaps, I've heavily back to blacked the bumpers and grille on my K10 and was wondering how I keep them looking like this? The car looks smashing now!

Here's a pic.

Stu.

I tried back to black on mine, then I colour coded them white for a while, then grey primer, gloss black, laquer, they look insanely good.

ive used most brands but particularly like boot polish but like mentioned above nothing beats paint:grinning:

Boiled Linseed oil

I had some lying around so I used it on mine - best thing I have used ever.
Could kick myself over the cash I have wasted in the past. The good thing about BLO is it catalyses as it 'dries' and should buffed so that it gets warm and it will get right in the plastic.
At £5 for 3/4 litre it's cheaper than most 'pro' bumper shines.
How would it be on tyres? or do i have to be the Guinea pig:doh:

simply use a heater gun. It works really well and just takes a few minutes.
I did it on my sisters corsa and it worked and then I tried it at my micra an it worked. Just be carefull not to burn the plastic, but you should recognize when it is enough.
And it is better then colour or something, it will not fade away for the next years ;)
