Arial Adaptor.

Hi fellas. Happy New year and what-not (is it too late to say that now?)

Well - i got a new head unit for christmas, all is fitted and working - except one thing.
I found there's two completely different connectors on the standard radio and the new pioneer one for the aerial.

One (the one that's connected to the car) is short and stubby, the other (on the headunit) goes in quite far.

Now, i've done a fair bit of research, but I need confirmation before I buy it, would this:

Solve my problem? And has anyone encountered this problem before??

No i think you need one that goes the other way around mate.

The bit at the top looks exactly like the bit i'm trying to convert - one that went the other way around wouldn't work from what i can see. Not saying I'm right though.

Halfrauds sell them pretty cheaply too, for future reference as i see you've already ordered it lol

Maplin sells one - code is A34FL. £3.99. Don't know how that compares with Halfords.
