i was just wondering if a cat bypass would add to the performance of the car??
what actually does a cat back exhaust do??? how does it work?

» CMF Memberhaha. Yes there are some performance gains to be had. but not on a standard motor! There's heaps more restrictions on the standard micra which hurt performance more than the catalytic converter.

This is esentially...
1- custom cold air intake (your own design, this is fun to try different things out to achieve the best high/cold air flow)
2- extractors (mine are 4-1 but some ppl have gone for 4-2-1),
3- lose the first cat,
4- 2" pipe thru to high flow cat and back box.
this should cost less then a grand, so that in your money is bugger all
