well this is my second micra previously had a red k10 which i killed :(. just bought a 1.0l 5dr for £260 not overly immaculate on the body work side but it flew through MOT and is mechanically sound. bear in mind its my first (Well second car), what you guys think.
will upload better pics during the week if i get time amongst work and drinking copious amounts of tea lol

My sister in law had one of those a few years ago :). Looks very nice considering what you paid for it (Y).
 
Looks like a fairly tidy motor for the money, mate. Wish mine was in that good a condition when I bought it :laugh:. Can't wait to see what you've got planned for it (Y)

never seen aanother "wave" didnt think i had the only one though lol :p and as for future plans there's alot in the pipe-line wanna make it look like it rolled out the factory yesterday but not just standard if that makes sense,

I was up ntill the early hours of this morning fitting the radio. also will be getting a parcel shelf and some speakers.

time and money are an issue at the minute will keep this updated

im goin to do that wallpaper my room with service manuals from various cars :p also just dug out a few bits for the motor some of wich i acquired at work today will put pics up tommorow. have darts tonight :/ ill throw ina set of new k10 brake pads if anybody guesses correctly lol :p

car needs a good going over whilst i have some motivation, recommendations for fixing peeling/lifting lacquer ??
 
well thought i'd revive the blog. not really done much been far to busy with other things. mainly a doggy old capri :(.
1)The micra sufferd with t/b issues so thats been fixed now.
2)Replaced door speekers with a Bose system with amp aounds pretty good.
3) started stripping and prepping the car for paint.
4) new wider steelies off a 'mera :p

The micra is a go again will keep updating as much as possible.

will get some pics up over the weekend at some stage got the capri (bane of my existence at the minute) to paint tomorrow though.
 
well here it is. The micras in so many pieces at the momment (hope i can remember were everything goes).
Know i have a lot more free time ive been able to actually get a move on with it now :D and make a start on the body work and other lil bits.

all the bumpers are off and ready for paint now

wing and door on the passengers side are in primer for got about a small dent though ill sort that out during the week


and finally heres the coulour that shes gonna be (the grilles all done) trying to go for a factory but better look on this one


sorry its taken a while to get something in this space but theres going to be plenty more yet.
 
Well, It's been awhile... but the old girls back on the road, been busy so that's where the lack of updates come from. Hope I didnt miss much whilst i've been absent :p

Just a couple pics before the colour went on, I think its "gential blue" ? an NA MX5 paint:D. I'm also in the process of re-trimming the door cards in a sort of Café racer type style. I'll post some more up to date photo's later on :)
 
Nice, cheers for the input buddy, good to receive some positive comments !!, there has been alot of work gone into her as of recent, full repaint, face lift rear lights, door cards. along with the search for some very illusive domestic market parts ;)

The paint is slightly orange pealish on the boot lid :oops: mixed the paint that turned out to be not runny enough :p nothing a flat n polish cant fix though, sadly really not feeling it ah well it'll get done one day :)

Yeah trying to find a decent set for a reasonable price ideally id like Wattanabes or mini lights, how ever there is a guy down the road with a green SR with the 4 spoke alloys i have been wondering for a while if he'd do some kind of deal :p
 
Yo, been troubled with a lack of internet recently :'(, some sad news the little "Blueberry" is sporting a war wound. Only gone and put a gash in the rear bumper. On the plus side ive fitted the new dials, bought some rostyles and my lil bro has joined the micra clan with his new k10
