ameter fitting

hi,

does anybody know how to wire up an ameter tp a k11?

i have allready got one ,its a splitfire one but i have no instuctions and dont want to break anything trying to fit it,wen i dont know wot im doing

Ammeter to measure what? Power between where and where?

They are wired in series with the circuit.

i.e. - if you have a car audio amp, inbetween the battery and amp

erm i have no ice install my cars a bit rally style so i guess battery to alternator ?seem to remember saying in instructions but i have lost them

but anywere is fine i jus want it to be working ..lol

any help advise is good!

Not much point in an ammeter to be honest.

A voltmeter would be more useful

But yes, otherwise battery to alternator

what about testing the charge in the battery?

for say ur playing dvd's etc witout car running
so u can see the charge in the battery so u know when u will need to turn it over and recharge for a bit

i have also got a voltmeter which is wired up and workin this is usefull like you sed for having stereo wen car isnot running

acctually they are both mounted in the car and the lights are wired up in them but i need to wire ameter up jus so it does sumthing

i no thers no point in having these but they look ace on the dash

Then in between the alternator and the battery. How thick are the wires/whats it rated at?
