Airfilter help

hello

i have fittet a K&N 57i filterkit om my k11 micra. but there is a little hose that i don't know where to connect.
the little hose in the red circle what is that for? it was mounted in the airfilter box, should i cut a hole and put this in the filter? or should i leave it just hanging there?

That looks like your breather tube, You can either put a filter on the pipe where it exits the cam cover or you can run a pipe into the wing..As oil vapour comes out of it and it doesnt smell nice in the cabin if you dont vent it somewhere.

A popular choice is an oil catch tank to catch the fumes and filter them out

I think hes pointing to the vac hose. From memory the hose is used to control the thermal vaccum switch for the carbon canister. For legal reasons it needs to be hooked up. Any where in the inlet track between the filter & the top of the throttle body is fine

So i could just drill a small hole under the filter, and put in that hose and glue it together?
