Abs Hubs/sensors ?

quick question do the models fitted with abs use a different hub/upright or the same as a non abs model?
can you fit abs sensors to the none abs hubs?

i don't think you'd be able to fit the abs sensors to a non abs hub. i don't think there's a mounting point on a non abs hub for sensor, but you shouls be able to fit abs cv, hub and susp damper (it's only got extra brackets on for wire though)
why do you ask? are you looking to fit some kind of traction control maybe? i hope you're not thinking of fitting the full abs system, lots of time, money and effort required.

sort of retro fitting toying with the idea of fitting the abs system off the primera im breaking abs its a pretty simple system but its just a thought at the moment (until ive investigated it further!):laugh:

you'd need a micra with abs to swap bits from, and it'd still be a ball ache. for the rear, you'd have to swap a complete micra axle with abs onto your car.
