6spd Box on K12 dci?

Wondering if anyone has fitted a note or similar 6spd box to a k12 dci? Difficult to find info on such a conversation bit seeing as they both use the k9k engine I would've thought with the right bits it would be a straight swap.....

I don't remember having heard/read anything about a K12 gearbox conversion...
Would be interesting as I'd like to think I could improve my Motorway MPG with an extra gear

Might be worth looking into gearboxes from Renaults with the same engine too
(Clio/Modus/Megane?)

i think the 6 speed will only fit the 2.2 DCI ? (and will be about twice the size of yours !)

Renault use a 6speed box on the 1.9 dci and some 1.5dcis. So may well be possible to fit the box from the 1.5 onto yours.
