2013 ****box Rally fundraising for the Cancer Council

Hey all,
Thought I'd chuck this up here to see if anyone is interested in making a charitable donation in the name of cancer research

I'm taking part in the 2013 ****box Rally, and in exactly one month from today I'll be departing Adelaide in a <$1000 car on my way to Fremantle via Uluru with 220 other ****boxes, aiming to raise over $1million for the Cancer Council.

I'm looking to raise at least another grand before the start of the rally, and would really appreciate if you would dig deep and make a (tax deductible) donation to my team at the following link:

As a father of a child living with cancer I will always donate to raise awareness and funds for research for Cancer. Sorry I couldn't donate more caught me on my off pay week.

Dig deep guys everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer be it family or friends.

My dad has recently finished undergoing his cancer treatment, so I'm 100% behind the cause. I will be donating next week when my account has some extra funds

Cheers guys, really appreciate the support. I have personally lost a sister to cancer and my girlfriend who I'm doing the rally with has lost an uncle. Kinda scary when you think of the number of people you've known throughout your life who've been diagnosed with cancer!

tyrie do you have to buy the car for the rally at a certain time or can i just fix a ****box in the back yard and use that to become an entrant for 2014? ive read the page but didn't clarify when you had to purchase the car.

you can have the car at any point up until the rally starts. So you can use a car you've owned for years or buy one the day before. The car rules on the site sound really anal, but in reality it's not like that. Turn up with a car that isn't obviously worth $10k and you're sweet.

check out r31skylineclub.com im sure some of the guys would be willing to contribute seeing as how its a 31.. and a good cause. i would love to help out but having some financial difficulties atm myself.
