I'm no expert so don't take everything here as 100% accurate!!!

Most people go for the T2 or T25, although the T25 is probably a bit extreme.

You will require a manifold to fit the turbo on to.

You will need an intercooler.

You will need a way of tuning the ECU, either STD ECU tuning or a piggy back ECU.

If you're going for a high level of induction then you'll need to look at forged pistons n other engine bits which others could tell you about.

May want to consider uprated fuel injectors, throttle body should be ok on turboing a 1L, but an uprated throttle body may be wanted.

Eds the Man to talk to on this as he done Nis's 1.4 Turbo and that hits over 200BHP

depends on the cash you have ned one cheap an old school T2 or T25 came on a range of cars can can be got cheap

Nis has a GT25R last time i heard on his which is one of garretts latest roller bearing turbos you could try a small TD04 somthing like that there are lots of turbo companies out there not just garrett

just avoid turbo's from turbo diesels they're designed to work at the lower revs, so won't have the gains higher up in the rev range of a petrol

For a cg10de turbo conversion you will need!

1. t2turbo housed on inlet manifold

2. g-reddy emanage blue ecu+ injection and ignition harnesses

3. 1.0l turbo clutch or uprated internals (very hard to get one)

4. intercooler of medium sized

5. ga16 injectors

6. cg13de pistons ans they are dished to lower compression

7. cg13de TB

8. iridium spark plugs

9. peformance hgt leads

10. fuel pressure regulator

11. twin core radiator (if needed)

12. uprated or new engine mounts

13. cg13de cams (have bigger lobes)

14. lots of alloy piping

15. sumone to setup and mapp the whole thing, lol

this is a list of whats going on my car at the moment and i have spent nearly 3 grand!

1) I think you mean exhaust manifold
3) or cg13 competition clutch with a cg13 gearbox that can handle the torque better
7) CG13DE and the CG10DE both use the SAME throttle body
8&9) Good quality OEM items are adequate here
13) not REALLY needed

In my Turbo micra the 3grade plugs are a VERY IMPORTANT part of the set-up..

Ive tried some performance NGK micra ones and it just wouln't fire after about 0.5 bar..

Mine are 3 grades cooler than stock and have a twin pronged design...

However my Nissan HT leads seem fine..

Although I will be changing them..
