where is the diagnostic port on a 1998 nissan micra, if there is one?

If you look in the fuse box by the drivers leg, there's a grey plug in there.

Or if there is a shelf under the steering wheel there should be a little flap there.

Hi, I've been looking for the diagnostic port on my Micra and thanks to this thread, I found it in the fuse compartment. However, I was wondering what type of port it is on a 1998 (S-Reg) Micra. We have just got a OBD-II Scanner to find a fault with a 1997 Volvo V70 and I was wondering if it would also work with my Micra, however it doesn't appear to fit.

Also does anyone know if OBD-II is used on modern Nissans (new Micras/Notes, etc)?

Yeah newer Nissans use OBD-II,

So Coilpack K11 Micras, N16 Almeras probably others but im not sure which, more than likely all of them made from like 2001 onwards.
