1.3 query

Is there much difference between a super s and a 1.3 lx . Im hoping to head to england soon and bring one back. Also what price should i be paying. Any help would be great.

enginewise there's no difference, they only differ cosmetically really, as for price, it depends on year, milage and condition, anywhere between £400 and a couple of thousand.

If it's pure speed you want to get out of it go for the LX as it's lighter but as already mentioned - the super s has more "bits"

Im looking for a 1993 - 1997 model. And its for speed as im gonna turbo it. Thanks for the help

you may as well buy a 1.3l and strip it out then, there'll be no weight in it at all then. It'll be interesting to see what it goes like.

you should be able to pick one up for around the £500 mark.

Good Point - forgot they did the 1.3 as an L model. They have barely any extra so is good for track use

over my mates are all doing track days in the gt starlets. I hope to get a 1.3 micra that could give them a bit of a shock on the track

are you sure they did a 1.3L ?

i thought the CG13de engines were only in the Lx, SLx, Gx, Super S and Sr

they may have done a 1.3 vibe too but i'm pretty sure the L series was always 1.0 and i think they only came in red or white too lol

i would put money on the fact a 1.3 L was never made. I think by the L, sonic meant 1.3 litre?
