feel so sick atm

i honestly feel sick at this moment in time. As some of you know my clutch decided to die on me, and its now in the garage getting repaired. He has the box off the car now and he says the clutch is kaput, he also thinks the gear box has gone as well. All i need when my mot and car tax is due as well

The bloke has just been on the phone and he says that he can do one of the 3 things:-

1)rebuild the box (providing its just the clutch)
2)rebuild the box with new syncro as it looks like gear two is broke
3)buy a recondishoned box(or how ever ya spell it)

god why at this time of the year

so what i need is some info on where i can buy a 1.4 gearbox from if its needed

scrappy i just payed 50 pound 4 gearbox.. n 32 for clutch set ?

it has to be a 1.4 though and 1.4`s are quite hard to find

yeah you'd be lucky. i had to put a 1.0 in my 1.4... but love the acceleration

was it easy to do that then and was it a direct fit if i get the second phase facelift gear box off a 1.0

did the car drive into the garage cause if it didn't he wont have been able to tell
