Sometimes a loose alternator belt will squeal, due to the increased demand for power. So are you sure its not that?.

Speedo cable i will bet. Once had the problem in a sunny gti i had a few years back, never got it fixed just turned the music up.

Got my insurance certificate today, and also the car is now on the database. So it was about 4 days in all for it to be on the database

Its ok the micra won't be going for another mot, not by me anyway. I agree the power increase would not be great, been told the middle one may yeild a couple of bhp, front one is more restrictive, so a few more bhp maybe. Might give it ago anyhow, as talked to my mate and he has a spare front...

LOL funny i thought of that after i posted. Heater card does get very hot tested for 5 mins and the solder was softer. But yeah thinking about it i really doubt it would melt.

Hi fixed my heater card, i soldered it, it now fully works but i noticed before i put it back in its holder it gets hot, can this melt the solder?.

Yeah they are bad, my front brakes are new and my braking system is not in bad nik, but with me and my 4 mates in the car breaking was poor and from past 50 mph it was really bad. I weigh 14 stone and my mates aint small lads, so maybe that was part of it.

Thought i would save some cash by getting a used one. I know new ones aint that expensive, but a used filter like a k&n is just as good as a old one, as long as its not to dirty. So if anyone has one for sale let me know please.

Im looking for a performance air filter for a 1.0l k10. It can be a drop in type for a standard air pan, or it can be a bolt on type. K&N preferred but anymake will do as long as its a high performance type. Needs to be fairly clean. Can pay with paypal right away.

Come on someone with a nice k10 [any model] thats not to modded, step in. Its a good cause and will help raise awareness of the k10, and also the club and forum. Also please people email practical classics, a simple act that will also help.

I am a reader of practical classic mag, and they don't feature k10s in there price guide despite having younger nissans in. So iam going to email them and ask them to put a price guide for k10s...
