i get a similer kinda noise, which goes when the AIRBAG light goes off, so I thought it was something to do with testing/activating the airbag system. But, fuel pump does sound more likely!

I'm going to Uni Kent at Canterbury, to study Computer Science, they also count my dropped subject last year so I infact got 270 points.

mine does the same with the petrol. When i was out on delivery at work we filled the van up with 60 liters of desiel and that was quicker than 12 liters of petrol into my micra!

i recently poseted about my n-reg k11 doing the same. It does just ssem to be a noise, but like you say its worrying. Guess it gives me an excuse to turn the music up tho :)

Quite often now there is a low volume, but audible, high pitch whining noise coming from the car while its moving. It seems worse when slowing down with the car in gear, but can also be heard when the clutch is fully disengauged as well. Im guessing its gearbox related as its fine when...

Is fitting a strut brace as simple as having the car parked on a flat surface, undoing the ~4 nuts at the top of each strut under the bonnet, placing the brace over the bolts and doing the nuts up again? Or is it more complicated than that? Cheers

hey mate, i believe mine was stuck with black tape to the underside (i.e. the reverse side, the bit you dont see.) If you take out the ashtray thingy and get your head down in the drivers footwell you should be able to c it. I will try take some pics 2moro.

I guess the procedure is identcal for the K11? What do you do about all the wires that have to run to the solinoids? Obviously they have to go under the trim but what bits?

i'm on claratyn and beconase spray, the spray works wonders, stopped my sneezing and itchy nose in about an hour after first using it.

nah, thats ok mate, won't be needing it now. Just got a call from a breaker whos managed to find a more or less brand spanking new k11 wheel and tyre. Thanks for the pics and everything though.
