Hi All my 1993 1.0 l hrw no longer operates. it was a bit temperamental such that if you banged the dash it came on but no more. ive checked the fuse, that's ok. any idea how i extract the switch from the dash?...............maybe its a loose wire? thanks i'm wellskint

my 1993 1.o has developed a strange high pitched (albeit not too loud) gurgling sound that alters in pitch both when you press the clutch in and wiggle the gearstick around in neutral. it also happens when the car is driving in all gears but less so in the higher gear range. anybody any idea...

took car for mot today and advisory on cross member severe corrosion. the mechanic reconed if it deteriorated any more the gearbox could fall out! - anybody ever heard of this happening ? he did say you can buy a new cross member but how much would that cost? it cant be welded its too bad any...

well i finally managed to get the nuts free. i note the back box is supported by 2 rubbers, one nearest the bumper and one more towards the axle. anyone know which one i should tke off forst after removing the bolts thanks

is there any kind of gasket between back and middle box?

need a new one and cheapest garages quoting about £75.can get supply only about £35 but have never messed with an exhaust before. is it as simple as unscrewing the 2 bolts at the connetion?

i have an earth problem to the nearside headlight causing it to be dim. a i have cleaned up and replaced what wiring earths i can find on the body to no avail. please can somebody tell me which of the 3 terminals on the bulb connector is the earth - there are 2 wires that are red with bits of...

had a look today and so far found 3 earths in bodywork . took 1 off and cleaned it, no change. the other 2 are by the offside front wheel arch but appear to be rusted solid. they do look grubby but i dont think i'll get them lose. could i cut the wire and connect it elsewhere to the body?

thanks but all the wires in the loom are too well encased to strip them back, which of the 3 terminals on the bulb is the earth?

none of the above suggestions work. i'm lead to believe its an earth problem so i thought the easiest thing to do is run an earth wire from the bulb to the body. there are 3 connectors on the bulb, a top one and two at the bottom. does anybody know which of the terminals on the back of the bulb...
