I need to fit a new battery, partly tempted to fit an exide 075 (60ah) as it'll be the backup for quite a lot of lights... Not sure if it'll fit. I need to measure though. Ideas/suggestions on brands/models?

Need some help with 2 wiring bits. 1. Wiring up the roof lights, and need to connect the switch backlight LEDs to a feed. I don't want to hook it up straight to the igntion or live as it needs to glow only when the normal lights are on. Where's the best place to grab a feed? Not so keen to run...

Does anyone know what the part number for the little grey rectangular tabs that hold up the roof lining are? Had to take out the roof lining to route some wires, and lost/broke some tabs. Also seem to have lost one of the screws for the sun-visor, but I presume a normal screw will work there...

Need some quick advice, I spent much longer than expected yesterday swapping the brakes, suspension, and cv boot. (vented disks didn't fit in the calipers and the trackrod end split pin needed drilling out). What this meant is that the brake line was left open for several hours, and drained...

I went to see 10+ K11's to buy today, only one 2 did not have evidence of a leak under the brake reservoir (towards the power steering fluid reservoir). Is this a common "known" issue, and does it have an easy (cheap :p) fix? M.

A query. I'm taking my K11 to Mongolia, and am trying to decide what spare parts to bring. My list so far: - Shocks/springs - Gasket kit - Spare belts - Injectors? - Hoses So, here's the question. Do you think it's worth bringing some spare injectors? Maybe the whole rail, just in case...

I'm reasonably confident my K11 has ABS, but no power steering... Any suggestions on the easiest way to check? M.

Has anyone had experience with the puncture gel (slime in halfords) that gets squeezed into tyres? Looks like it has a lot of advantages based on the adverts... but what are the downsides? Thinking of putting some in all 10 tyres for the Mongol... EDIT: Ultraseal seems to get better reviews...

There's a coin/sunglass holder on top of the center console.... Removing that would leave for a good space to fit a custom-made pod for the light switches. Any idea how to remove the sunglass holder? I can't find screws holding it in... M,

Will a 1998-2000 K11 rear bumper fit on a 2001 K11? I've found a cheap rear bumper in matt black that would work for the rally car... but it's listed as being for a 1998-2000 car. Are the 4 bolt mounting points the same? M.
