Have you disconnected the battery for a few minutes? It sounds like the immobilizer kicking it to me, Failing that i would check the fuses.

Have you changed the break pads recently? wheel bearing? front end, Back end engine bay give us a clue. Even better if you could get some one in the car with you and record the noise on there phone then upload it. :)

Half hour to fit, you could pick one up from a scrap yard £15-£25 ish same price to fit. :)

I would get my angle grinder out cut a hole in the bonnet pop the catch. then put a bonnet scoop in the hole. EASY ;)

I should of got a dci:) All my tyre pressure is spot on, I was thinking of getting the engine cleaned wondering how much of a improvement it would make? Was looking at getting it Terraclean but at £108 thats like just under 3 tanks of fuel would it be worth getting it done?

Just had a look on a web site that reckons a 1.6 micra 07 should be getting 42.8MPG I am getting 36/7MPG. I am a fairly laid back driver ie i don't rag the t#ts off it. wondering if any one else has had the same problem? and how they improved there MPG. cheers

Seen it done, looked like hard work tho as the person took the bumper off drilled two holes for the spot lights, Then placed a tube in the hole fibreglass round the tube painted inside then mounted the lights inside. look good when it was done tho. will see if i can find it and post a link.:D

Nice job.... you could have used BODYKIT METAL PANEL BONDING ADHESIVE its made for the panels and spoilers, its about £6 a tube saves all the drilling.;)

Sounds to me like the starter motor is on its way out and its not not disengaging, mine was the same first start exactly the same noise.

;) All sorted my local garage plug it into his computer and hit the reset button. only charge me a fiver. dashboard is reading (Good) again. happy days..... :)

Hi, its not the level and there seems to be no leaks, taken the car for a quick spin and checked the dip stick about 101 times, and its spot on, i think iam going down the route that its either the sensor in the sump or it needs the epu resetting... and cheers for the posting the link:)

Hi i've change my oil and oil filter today. now when i turn the ignition on....( oillo) comes up on the dashboard, even tho the oil light is off, can anyone advise me on how to rectify this, any help would be most appreciated, thanks paul.

Just had a look at the megane under shield on google image and it looks like the same as the laguna one, 4ft width and 3ft long give or take a few cm's i would say 95% its the same, forgot to mention it only took 10mins to fit i used (5) 6mm self tappers. ;)

2mm plastic sheet isnt heat resistant , i did 30 miles yesterday jack the car up, it was really hot ie sump. I really dont fancy setting my car on fire. i was thinking of making a template going to the breakers and taking one of a rover/jag or a large vehicle and cutting it down. by any chance...
