    Clocks HELP!

Not posted for ages. Well after 211,700 ish miles my first K11 is suffering. More of this later. I purchased a second yesterday with only 56,500 miles, full MOT, very tidy. Today I fitted a nice new Kenwood and all was well however, I've lost all my back lighting to my clocks, ideas? I've...

Starting to need TLC so HELP!

Not posted for ages but rest assured the Micra just keeps plodding on and is now showing just over 206.000 miles! However I need help....... I'm looking for a complete rear axle in good/fair condition and within a realistic distance from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. I have a fair bit of rot and it's...

    It only passed!..........

Not posted for a while but the miles still roll onward and upward, now reading just under 168,000! However dispit the milage it is now good for another 12 months happy (cheap) motoring. Small amount of welding and a brake pipe in exchange foe a shiny MOT. Well chuffed :).

The K11 may be a tough little car but sometimes this is not enough.........:( It held up longer that the Saxo did the day before! :D

    More stupid questions.......

I've asked before but I'm very old and easily confused :). The back seat in my K11, can it be folded flat (or flatish)?, do I have to tip up the seat base or will the back just 'fold down' - I'm not having any luck with this simple operation. While I'm asking stupid questions - tyre pressures...

    Removing clocks - how?

My back-light seems to have gone to my LCD trip meter so I need to remove my clocks. I'm being very lazy and have not looked how they come out but thought I would ask first. Being Jap I assume it's a simple job.....

    How many!............

RD just keeps plodding on. So much 'plodding' in fact I have added another 10,000 miles since April! No big (or expensive) problems in that time with only a punture (repaired) and an exhaust replacment of note. I'm returning about 45-50 mpg (1.0 16v). Off on our hols in a few weeks, have...

    Another stupid question.....

Be fair not asked anything stupid for a bit so it's about time I did :D. Can I drop the back seat to increase (relative) my load space? Never get the grand piano in at this rate ;). Thanks.

    Another stupid question....

In real world terms just how much are we talking to lower a micra? From what I've read the Suzuki Alto bits make it a 'cheap' job but how much is cheap, is ebay the best place to find the part I would need etc. Then we get to wheels - a minefield. There is a picture on here of a white micra...

    Got one........

Said I was going to and I have:), my first Micra - bless. Bit dark ATM for any pics but I will do my best over the weekend. Anyway....... 1.0L, R reg, red, 3 door and very clean for the age I think (well was!) and with a long MOT and a little tax, lots of paperwork/old MOT's etc. Insurance is...

    A question of MPG.

Within the next two-three weeks I will have my first Micra. Have been looking at 1.0L for cheap everything but my daily commute will involve a few miles of motorway driving so I'm thinking a 1.3L would be better suited (not working as hard?) but is this the case in the real world. Insurance...

Hello (this time in the correct bit)

Not a good start :( so I will post my introduction again in the introduction bit, clues in the name I guess ;). I currently do not own a car and use public transport (utter rubbish) for my daily commute. However due to a house move in the next few weeks I find myself requiring a cheap...
