4k on a set of fronts?!? Dear god, you must be spinning them everywhere to get that little milage. I get 8-10k from a set of rears on my VX220 and thats with trackdays and a damn sight more power going through them than the micra!

Well my fronts have done 20700 miles now, so need changing asap :) Gonna scrape a few more miles out of em, then change.

I doubt it, it will only be 10mm either side of the rim. The tolerances for the inside edge should be greater than 10mm thats for sure.

I'm gonna go for 205/45/16 when I change mine. Accordin to a tyre calc, they are the closest match in terms of rolling radius to the original tyre. They are also the same size tyre fitted to the Clio 172/182 so should improve handling.

Where are the harnesses tied down to? They look like they use a standard seatbelt point? They should be anchored further back than that.

My 160sr has just had it's 18k service and the tyres only just need doing... you must have been ragging your car senseless to only get 8k from the front tyres!!

Phoned up to book my 160SR in for it's 18k service (an FP2 service)... £240!!! Nearly died! Apparently, it's filters, plugs, oil etc and 2hrs of labour £79+vat per hour!!!!!! It's a bloody micra not a mercedes!!

If it was my car..... I wouldn't fit coil clamps... The springs are tested within tolerances, not to be changed by clamping them down. I doubt the insurance would pay out if they found out as well.

The ecu is at the top right of the engine bay (as you look at it from the front), passenger side. It is a Bosch unit iirc.

Nice colour. Bump Strips look awful tho, they're not even body coloured, or even "nice" looking, they are the tacky cheap black plastic they use on the S model.
