I don't want to get rid of my car, but wont be using it on the road for a while, i have been reading somewhere that even though the car will be parked up not being used it still needs to be insured? Is this true? If anyone could shed any light on this would be great!

Apologies if this has been done to death. Which oil is best for K11? I've been told 5/30 others have said 10/40, which one? Also is it part or fully synthetic and is it true once you put fully synthetic in you cant go back to part? Thanks!

thanks guys im not sure if that it the stuff, if you look in the arches or underneath there is something covering the metal that been put on from factory like a bumby rubbery matting i will try find a pic. cheers.

Hi, Do you have a link for the ignition switch, can that be replaced without touching nats system? Also a company called fusion motorsport say they sell a new ecu to replace nats ecu any feedback on these? thanks.

Been told theres new MOT regs this year, and they require catalytic converters factory fitted, anyone mot'd there car this year with an ashley (or similar) system fitted and cat removed had any problems?

Thanks for help, exhaust is ordered :) Just out of interest why is the 2nd cat less effective than the 1st cat, is it because it is further down the system?

Im looking at the ashley exhaust system, its the full system and connects just below the 1st cat(under the manifold) it replaces the 2nd cat im just wondering with the 2nd cat removed has anyone had any issues with the emission test on the mot ? thanks!

I looked at this on mine today and i cant find the tensioner bolt, looking at the haynes manual picture there is no bolt where it says there should be! Did certain models have different adjuster or none at all? mine has the same problem and the belt is slipping when i turn the wheels but only...

surely its not right though? Could it be the belt needs replacing

I have power steering on my k11, when i turn the wheel to full lock either way it squeaks, any way i can cure this? Also when coming to a stop the car is making a weird almost rubber squeaking noise as if something is rubbing against something else from the front cant figure from where but...

Anyone been having problems with the forum? I have been having trouble when i click on a thread it locks up and crashes, im on a different pc now and not having issues so maybe my pc but only does it on this forum just wondered if anyone else is having problems or is there anyone i can contact...
