Definitely invest in an aftermarket - even a cheapish (£100ish) one will be better than the stock radio. As for the K12 one, it's really easy to remove! Couple bits of trim pop out, 3 bolts, 2 screws and you're done! You don't even need a fasica adapter, but may need a wiring loom adapter.

I had a 4" tip on my Primera, and it was pretty smart on that... but that's a huge barge of a car. I'd say it's way too big for a Micra, but it all comes down to taste.

When I needed one for my Primera, the cheapest place turned out to be Bennetts. Might be worth contacting your local branch - if they don't stock it, they can get it in.

Good luck selling them - I might have had them but I'm selling my Micra! If I bought them to help it sell, you know they'd arrive the day after someone bought the car :P

Yeah I love my K12. What it lacks in raw power, it makes up for with handling.

How would that happen? I ask because I just fit a stereo in my Brabus, and had to cut and crimp all the wires (to fix the cut and crimped BADLY wires from previous owner!). Did it well as far as I know, and taped all the connections over the crimps for extra insulation. You've made me...

It happened in my Primera - the drainage hole was blocked, so all water (from rain and washing) wasn't draining, leading to rust. I just broke out all the rusted metal in mine and repaired it with gaffer tape. Not perfect, but it never got worse.
