OOh I will be coming to this for sure! I don't know if my mum will let me bring the Cabriolet or I'll bring the MX5 - hoping the Cabriolet will be joining us as I don't have enough space to fit camping stuff in the MX5 haha! Also will be nice to have another JDM Micra on the stand!
 
Yay! Looking forward to it! Looks like I'm bringing the MX5, so I'll have to make it fairly presentable I suppoose :(
 
the ST is looking slightly sorry for itself with the rear dent and light but i will try and get it sorted by JAE or at least make it less noticable
 
Someone drove into the front of my glanza so it needs a bodyshop. Nothing major, just the bumper looks a bit scuffed up! Will also try and get it sorted for JAE

To do list is more of a essay but she is easily presentable with a wash and polish.....expect sooo much more.

It'll probably be the mX5 now - mum won't let me use the Cabriolet! mean woman! I should have tinted lights and indicators by then!
 
I went straight there too although have convoyed in the past. There was a bit of a convoy on the way home

I dreamed last night we got there and there wasn't a MSC stand, and that i'd left my cooking gear & cool box at home. Luckily they had built a Mcdonalds on site! </random>

36 days left EEK!!! I gotta get the car sorted - I don't want it stricken from the stand because of the naffed bumper lol

Can you not clean up the worst of it and just go over it with a spray can? That's what i did on my Glanza :) New bumper coming soon though!

I have a dark green vinyl that could be a farely close match to your paintwork.

If you like at JAE, I could try and fit and trim a piece to cover up the damage?
 
or try rubbing compound micrafish(try to avoid halfords one)! it does work pretty well
i got one question though.how many micras is actually gonna be on micra sports club stand? why is there mx5 and glanzas?
 
The reason there other japanese cars on our club stand is because they are long standing MSC members that have attended this event with us for many years and even though part of other clubs still continue to support the MSC and pay there membership and have an interest in the Micra and the MSC.

The stand display will be split between Micra's and Non Micra's and as we can see from the stand list, if it were Micra only, the stand would be pretty small.

Even I haven't owned a Micra for nearly 6 years now lol!

I know ppl been on here for ages and ppl like you, arnold and micrafish had micras and very nice once tbh. dont know what you had, but arnolds k10 was mint and that green cabriolet is awesome. just asking as i would probably do things different, when i look at the pic from 2009 it just doesnt look like micra sports club stand. cheers

I did try and get the Cabriolet there again this year but ironically the company my mum is with won't insure me on the car even though I owned and insured it last year lol
but yeah I'll always be part of the Micra club - with my new job I'm going to have to commute so if the mx5 proves too expensive to run I'll go back to a Micra lol
yeah kev give it a go, I'm smattering vinyls all over it lol got a camo idea for the bumper as well, so I will see how that goes too lol! Trouble is new bumpers cost 120 quid :(
 
I'll be there. MSC party fri night? I'm doing fireworks and audio on sat, but will be back later in the evening.

Cheers bud, shame the car isn't in any condition to be on the road, so the stand is well out of the question! Someone's damaged my Glanza again so that needs more repairs before JAE
 
Just to iterate, Thursday night is not an official night. It is for set up only, if you don't have set up access with JAE you will not get in, even with a ticket!
 
I think it would be best if we aim to arrive Friday morning.

Thursday is only limited to 1 or 2 club officials to get things setup,

All we have to do as a club is set up our club gazebo, so that can be done first thing Friday morning.

Brill, well I need to pick up Ralph from Stansted on Friday morning, so we should be there late morning early afternoon!
Anyone got any ideas on how to fit more luggage into/onto my car? lol :laugh:

Bunjee chords and pile things ontop of Ralph :) will be good to see you two again and others :)

Cant do a trailer, and roof rack is out of the question as the car has a soft top ;) Boot rack a possibility, but uber expensive, and the free one I was meant to be getting isn't materialising!

Theres no one nearby that's coming up to help me out :( joe I don't think is coming and no one else lives near me :( balderdash! I'll think of something!

Got my camo vinyl and jdm stickers now so will be sorting that out for jae!
