would you buy this?

my mate built and installed this LED light system in his car, it is made out of acrylic and is held together with screws and nuts and is secured under his car seats with zip ties. after he finished them he had interest from others to build some for them.

i wanted to know whether there would be anyone on these forums who would be interested in them because if there is a lot, we could start making them to order. they are the size of an A4 sheet of paper, have 14 LED's at each end, shining at a rough 45 degree angle and can be made in various colours (the acrylic and the LEDs).

because he has to build them all by hand he says including parts they would cost between £90-£100 to build and send out.

I wouldn't waste my time on them!! Saying that if your mate is running LED's why would you fit a fuse? There Diodes running 12V stepdown voltage to the aquired power trusting that's what the resistors on board are!!! Back in 1989 when I had my K11 I done all this to my dashboard as for fun!!!

Looks nice but cheeeeeesy
