Wiring actuators in

Hi there i have just put in my central locking kit all i need to know now is where is best to connect the 12v power and earth to the battery or what?
any help please

12v - I soldered into the permenant live on the ignition wiring at the barrel
Earth - Bolted to Metal under the stereo (cause this is where my central locking box is)

so basically any metal? around the stereo area will do and how will i get the the 12v take out the barrel? lol

yer any metal, there is some bolts which u can use when you take the pocket under the stereo out. and i just stripped some of the cover off the ignition wire put the c/l power round it and soldered it on.

i wouldnt use them, will probably get problems in the future using them as they dont get a very good connection.

On the passenger side (K11 Facelift) pull the carpet up a little and there is a metal bar with bolt points on, ideal place for attaching an earth.
