Wipers. squeeeeeeeeak!

Found cure for the squeaking wipers. Remove cowl. Remove cover over wiper motor recirculating part on l.h. side of car, ie first part from the motor. At this point it should be possible to give a good squirt of thick oil or grease onto all moving parts including plastic bushings. What happens is that vibration in these parts, travels along the tramway to the arms, hence the squeak on the screen. Worked for me and my Dad. Let me know how it goes. Drove me mad for two years and 4 sets of wipers!

Thanks for this cure.I was surprised to find how Much wear there was in the plastic bushes though!
