Window Mechanism

Hi

The window on my k11 has become detached from the guides .... how straight forward is it to get this back into place? ,,, and of course it would happen tonight with snow bleaching down

you will need to take the door cards off and see whats exactly happened. this happened to mine long time ago had to get another mechanism what winds it up and down.

yeh that ice glues up the glass to the rubber then its just a matter of time!

i think there is a fairly common fault on the k11s (correct me if im wrong) where its not actually the window reg itself but the two white plastic clips attaching the glass to the reg? they are quite weak and usually snap in half, id say the cold weather probably made yours even more brittle, these are cheap as chips and available from nissan main dealers, this could well be your problem, hope this helps
