wide arch k12??

i am going to try and book my k12 into a local bodywork specialist soon for the new bumpers and a few other bits to be done i have been playing with the idea of having it wide arched at the same time the old mini style arches smoothed in and painted body coloured please vote and leave any comments you think would be productive a photoshop would be apprciated if someone has the time aswell

don`t have any pics i`m afraid mate and i`m utter rubbish on photoshop

like how you`ve done yours with the skyline style arches

i was thinking more the rounder arches like a classic mini
i have just tried a search of google images which didn`t turn up a micra or march but i have found a mini with the style of arches on although smoothed the ones in the pic are not

be aware that the distance between the arch and the door is very tiny, it cause me a lot of pbs when I made mine. Your arches won't be symetric

yeah i was thinking of mounting them onto the flat part of the arch will see what they say when i go in to book it in about how they can go

would look cool...altough would need a standard rear bumper to pull it off...aftermarket wouldnt suit the archs imo.

Get some Daihatsui 4x4 archs, the cornered ones, lol. Def get some wide arches, don't think I've seen a K12 widened.

thanks thats where i`ve seen them before yes that style arches where they bulge out really subtly not too sure about the air slits on them though unless someone wants to send me some leds to fit in them

still gonna do the smooth boot march front bumper etc but 350sr style arches aswell unless someone`s got a better idea

I can understand that, they'll be better for the K10, lol. If you can use photoshop pro try and make something so you can see what it'll look like.

Looks alright at the front

Doesn't suit the back though, unless you put some spacers behind the wheels. Just looks like you've got a fat person in your boot.

cheers thats the rear bumper i`ve got aswell

the wheels will be being spaced out / wider wheels purchased if this goes ahead which looks highly likely

pjg don`t have photoshop and am crap at pictures on paint anyone who wants proof look at my smooth boot thread for my shopping skills

i will upload some pics of the micra R / 350SR as that is closest to what i`m aiming for

the arches like that with a jdm front bumper

thanks for the offer mate but i`m looking to go a little wider than that i think i`ve got planned how i want it now i will try and do some incredibly poor photoshops once bumpers are on as this will give a better view

front bumpers being a pain so all my efforts are going into that at the minuete hopefully have that sorted by the end of the day and will be able to get something mocked up

Are you working directly on the car? or do you spare bumpers you can work on? it can be usefull I garanty you. When I was making the golgoth wide arch (my car), people laugh at me when I pass >_<

i'm thinking of ordering some the D1 spec arch extensions from aerokit, rivet the things on and instantly make the k12 chunky
