About 4 months ago I pulled and painted my dash. Used regular spray paint, flat black and metallic blue. painting was the easy part. The prep work (cleaning, sanding, primer.. etc..) is the most time consuming.if you skip this part, it will end up looking like crap.
Unfortunitly, I can 't take any pictures as Im replacing my ECU, steering wheel and cluster.
Just take your time and make sure you are sure on the colors you choose.

I cleaned it with dish soap, to remove any grease/oil... after sanding I wiped it down with thinner. I used a plastic primer first, but wasnt happy with it as it was clear, so ended up using autobody primer. lightly scuff sanded first coat of primer aswell.
the rear board is cloth right? you will be better removing it and then painting it. Ive done this with my rear door panels.

Hmmm. I think its like "felt paper" on top of wood. I'll check again. I want to paint the rear board first. I'll look for the autobody primer here. Not sure I'd find it though. Thanks for the help.
