Visiting Stoke

I will be spending a week up in Newcastle-under-lyme and nearby Stoke in staffordshire next week and was wondering if anyone is local to that area.

Are there any problems with flooding in the area?

Also does anyone fancy meeting for a quick drink on one of the evenings?
