I was just wondering what are the purposes for changing the retainers? any advantages?

at least 20kw... well not realy. its explained here:

from that i doubt changing them by them selves would do anything but the would be required on a heavyly worked na engine.

anyone please correct if im wrong

heh... thanks for the info.. i guess there is not much performance parts in the market... suddenly found his website.. was jus thinking if is required for tomei 256 deg poncams... but most of my friends said as long as i stay na or low horsepower is fine.. no retainers required..

they,re just lighter than stock ones eh, so that valvebounce occurs at 10,100 rpm rather than 10,000
