I have a 306 1.9 td and the tourque from 2500 revs impreses me every time, would an engine replacement td engine work with a k11 or k10? or is it the worst idea since edible underwear?

my dads mate swaped the 2.0 pinto out of his westfield for a td engine not sure what the result was can`t see him having an easy time getting round round abiuts or tight corners.

Problem is with a diesel, there is a lot more involved. Majority of the components are different. There is no throttle body, no spark plugs and the fuel lines are set up different. (There are loads more)

If you managed to do it, it would be pretty cool, but there are more powerful + easier engines that can be installed.

it would be like replcaeing a 100bhp 1.3 for a 2.0 turbo deiseal with 120bhp. all work and money for 20mph, it would be heavier. lol.
