you could do that with any engine though.. its only the turbo being driven by the motor.

The stock manifold isn't that bad for low boost apps. A tig welder, a cast flange should see you with a fairly decent manifold. I would have made it that if I had a tig welder back then.

a small list of things that are wrong with that:

what tard runs an engine without any kind of cooling?

the turbo isn't doing anything, its just spinning.

that manifold is very ristrictive, the stock manifold is pants. welding on a turbo flange is a bodge.

what is with all the smoke?

its got a hose pipe stuck in the thermostat hole..

i don't think it does, there is another video of a CG13 and you can see a hose pipe on that and the water coming out the bottom, but on this there is no water coming out and i cant see any hose pipe going in
